From the Dead to the Med, Israel

A Bedouin boy found the first Dead Sea scrolls in this cave.


This Greek Orthodox monastery on the road of the Good Samaritan is built into the wall of the gorge, and surrounded by hermits’ caves.


We’re sleeping in Akko,



a walled Mediterranean Crusader  town.
